“Solid Reality” by Eminent Poet and Writer Russell Salamon

Russell Salamon

Russell Salamon is arguably one of the most prolific and profound poets of the 21st century. His poetic writing bathes you in the pleasures of the senses, lifts you in the light of spiritual exaltation and crashes you into the sea of despair with his every word. His poetry is like a fine wine or a sonata by Beethoven. He is the modern Grand Master of poetry from my view. No, I cannot say enough about his creative abilities and do not apologize for my unabashed declarations of his talent. “Solid Reality” is something he wrote for artists and for mankind. It isn’t poetry but the language will cut through to the core of your being. Read it and know all of  you who are artists of the soul – this is for you.

We bring our tombstones and study how real they are and how we died, and how the war was really love of mankind, and how the art of stones became the brain, and the art of science became not knowing. We bring the solid past because it is completely known in the unconscious mind. And if you say hello you can depend on a wall of silence. And if you write a poem with future meaning you get a belly laugh from the barrels of whiskey and beer minds, because no one brings senses of music to the appearance of dawn light.

And no one believes that thought is life–especially the brain-drug pretend con artists of sanity who will never find a soul, and are not souls themselves, but brain machines getting paid to annihilate the arrival of the future from children and mothers. And under their tank tracks lie the crushed dreams of Beethoven and Bach, as if their flights of freedom of creation would ever resurrect any scientist of the tombstone and serious grave of reality.

An artist slips out of his head, out of his shackles from inside belief in the reality we never confront head on. Out of the general sleep of spiritual death–the artist begins to feel the empty spaces of god and gives them emotions and meadows under stars to sleep on. You can feel a small telepathic burn coming off his paintings. You can’t believe this is happening. It reminds you of original star worlds before the beginning of light, in the first choice to be yourself, to conquer immortal life with abundances of yourself. Stretched into so many lives you are entire civilizations and floods of future worlds. And this terrifies you. You think you will lose your tombstone pillow and your well paid life of owning slaves and extinguishing hope.

The artist, the last chance for a future world, must be stoned, vilified, laughed at, and not supported. Let him eat paint, let him eat words; let him eat violins; let him join the general despair and suffer for our sins. Then maybe if he is right, two hundred years from now, we will build a large bronze horse and put him on it to ride in the past glory of our unawareness. We saw him coming and we did not like the offer of a new world. The past is all there is. We can’t let just any nut talk about responsibility for sane thought. That means awareness and we brain chemicals do not think with awareness. We react with lies and hypocrisy. We are good bodies; we take our medications, and we die under good health care.

We ignore the fact that our own basic goodness heals bodies, heals cities, brings order to chaos. We have lost the definitions of our true nature, and we shut down all efforts by artists to open communication lines to life. The artist says such things as, “The definitions of divine power are definitions of mankind. We are not bodies. We are our own souls and we have been blinded by tombstone pretend science. We are spiritual slaves unsafe in our graves. We are dust and we must enjoy our welfare crust of bread and water and poisonous drug.”

If you see an artist weeping, as I am weeping, it is for you we are weeping. You are not matter, you are built out of freedom of thought, freedom of choice, freedom of universes.

It’s Time To Publish That Book!

The Information Age has accelerated to a fever pitch and with it the demand for cutting edge publishing options and solutions. With hundreds of new ways to garner data about any subject on earth, our thirst for knowledge is exponentially greater now than at any other time in history. The more you know the more you want to know; curiosity can even be built into obsession!

You have THAT book, you know, the one you wrote a few years back about your experiences in Viet Nam. Or the one that has all the secret recipes from your family that dates back to Europe in the 1700’s, or the one that is still in your head wrangling to step out onto the written or digital page. Its your book. Its your life. Its what you want to say to your fellow man. Or even just to your family. If you could just be heard, just this once, your life would be complete.

Or maybe its not all that esoteric. Maybe its a manual on how to build a barn, or how you lost all that weight. Simple stuff. But it needs to be said and people need to know about it. Its your contribution to the knowledge of the world; to the knowledge of mankind. Its your help and its from your heart.

It could even be a story; something you need to say cloaked in the guise of a tale of fictional characters, acting out the message from your creative mind. Your creative mind is endless, incomparable and must lead the human race in a crusade to goodness. Its your way of contributing to its onward motion. Or it could be a dark tale. One of evil and treachery to entertain those who thirst for more wrenching times.

Amongst the newest forms of creative communication are videos, e-books, voice recordings and many other electronic means of getting your message out. All of these forms of communication need to be distributed in the most efficient and prosperous manner possible and that comes under the heading of publishing.

A publisher takes your work, packages it most aesthetically and appropriately as possible and then spreads its sphere of influence out into the vast infinite sea of other published works to make it known, valued and appreciated.  Appreciation is shown in the purchasing and support of the work. Then you create the next chapter or phase or idea and the cycle starts all over again.

“Success is your DUTY” – Grant Cardone

Grant Cardone, inspirational speaker, best-selling author, trainer and consultant to top business people on the planet has some definite ideas about success!  He says: “One of the greatest turning points in my life occurred when I stopped casually waiting for success, and instead started to approach it as a duty, obligation, and responsibility. I literally began to see success as an ethical issue; a DUTY to my family, company and future, rather than as something that may or may not happen to me.  I spent 17 years getting a formal education that was to prepare me for the world — and not one course was on success.  Not once did anyone talk to me about the importance of success, much less what I had to do to get it.  Amazing!  Years of education, information, hundreds of books, time in class, and money; yet I was still missing the purpose. “

He goes on to say, “Most people approach success in the same way that I did when I was 25 years old. They look at it as though it doesn’t matter — like it’s an option or perhaps just something that only happens to other people. Treating success as an option is one of the major reasons why people don’t create it for themselves — and why most people don’t even get close to living up to their full potential. Ask yourself how close you are to your full capability—you might not like the answer very much. If you don’t consider it your duty to live up to your potential, then you simply won’t. If it doesn’t become an ethical issue for you, then you won’t feel obligated and driven to fulfill your aptitude.  People don’t approach the creation of success as a must-have obligation, do-or-die mission, gotta-have-it, “hungry-dog-on-back-of-meat-truck” mentality, and then spend the rest of their lives making excuses for why they didn’t get it.  This is exactly what happens when you consider success to be an alternative rather than an obligation You have to approach the notion of success the way a good parent approaches their duty to their children—it’s an honor, an obligation, and a priority.  A good parent will do whatever it takes to take care of their children. He or she will get up in the middle of the night to feed a baby, work as hard as they can to clothe and feed them, fight for them, even put their lives at risk to protect them. This is the same way you must envision success.  A great person will do WHATEVER it takes to create SUCCESS for themselves, their family, their business, and the world.

If you are going to survive at all in today’s economy with all of the opposing factors facing you and the survival of your own, you are going to have to learn how to take the above advice and implement it.

Grant Cardone and the Shrinking Middle Class

GRANT CARDONE is an International Sales Expert and author. Recently he spoke with TV’s Colleen Williams about the Shrinking Middle Class.

Nearly one-third of Americans dropped from the middle class in 2010. The middle class is shrinking and its former members are delegated to one of two categories: Rich or Poor! And it will only get worse unless you take matters into your own hands. YOU are the one that can change the course of your destiny! It’s not the government or fate or circumstances, its you.

At no time in history has the opportunity to be successful and prosperous been more available to those who KNOW what to do to achieve it! The secrets are out, the doors wide open, beckoning to take advantage of this time, this place, this planet, right NOW.

So the question is, do YOU know what you need to do to move up into the ranks of the rich?

Be Deaf When Someone Says You Can’t! by Grant Cardone

The buzz is all about the economy, where do we stand, and how to survive through these tough times. Because this topic is on the top of everyone’s minds, I am doing a series of articles based on the information in Grant Cardone’s book, “If You’re Not First, You’re Last”. Recently featured on the New York Times Best Seller list, it is no wonder this book is a hit! I recently had the great privilege of interviewing Grant Cardone on Help-2-Succeed’s Blog Talk Radio Show. What a ride! He is the foremost example of the best of the best in sales and survival of the fittest in business! In his book, he gives a step by step pathway to prosperity in tough times, no fail. It is the best example of a common sense attack on the obstacles facing us in today’s economy.
In interviewing him, we went over a number of key concepts and one really important factor that one has to keep in mind is that you may be surrounded by people who will counter your initiative with “how bad it all is” and “it can’t be done” and “you can’t mess with fate” types. He actually names the four different types of responses people have during economic contractions: 1. The Cheerleader Response: “I refuse to participate!” 2. The Old-School Response: “Nothing really has changed; let’s just get back to the basics.” 3. The Quitter Response: “There is nothing I can do, I just have to wait it out.” and 4. Advance and Conquer: “Every resource you have goes to advance and conquer while others contract and retreat.” ( I kind of favor the last one!)  So just in a nutshell, recognizing that we all fit into one of these four categories, we can spot it and change it to the operating basis that fits our future goals! We can use the data to  recognize these categories in dealing with business partners, family, friends and customers.

The above four categories are listed in the book and are each expanded upon to fully define them. Then the book shows you how to take the Advance and Conquer approach with exercises to make you think with the data so you can apply it. It is brilliant!

Just to polish off this topic I am going to post (as Grant suggested I do) his ode  at the end of the book regarding people who try to get in your way or stop you:

“Be Deaf when Someone Says You Can’t!” by Grant Cardone

Be deaf when someone says you cannot do it!

Be deaf when someone says it is impossible!

Be deaf when anyone tries to put limits on you!

For these people who make efforts to limit you and suggest that  you cannot fulfill your dreams are dangerous people.

These people have given up on their dreams and seek to convince you to do the same.

And do not be confused by them when they suggest that they are only trying to help you!

Help is not what they offer.

What they really seek to do is have you join the ranks of slaves, the apathetic, and the hopeless.

Be deaf to all of them!

“Doom and Gloom is the Time to Boom”!

“If You’re Not First You’re Last” is the book I just read by New York Times Best-Selling Author and multi-millionaire Grant Cardone. What insight into today’s economy and how to prosper in spite of the downturn! He doesn’t sugar-coat the state of the world, he states the truth: “Over 10 percent of the workforce is unemployed. In some locations, that number already exceeds 15 percent and is still climbing. These statistics are frightening in their own right and negatively impact those who can’t find work. Add to that the financial damage caused by fear, anxiety, uncertainty, and lack of confidence, which can be more devastating than the facts themselves. Auto sales are off by almost 40 percent, retail sales are hitting lows not seen in 25 years, foreclousres are hitting historical highs, massive amounts of wealth equity have disappeared with the downturn in houseing prices, people have seen their 401(k)’s cut in half, banks are failing at alarming rates and credit is being frozen. Positive saying and optimistic attitudes alone will not get us through this.”

He wrote this book as a wake-up call to all of us who operate in “business as usual” mode, thinking that we just need to ride it out. NO! As he says, we are in a completely different economic situation than we were even 18 months ago.  In his book he lists out 4 different types of responses to the economic downturn, and I guarantee you will find yourself there! I decided to take on category #4, “Advance and Conquer”. This category acknowledges the market is different now, it has more challenges and definitely “requires a unique sense of energy, work ethic, mind-set and actions.” This book is not about philosophizing though. It is about ACTION and it gives you step-by-step actions to take to use the economic devastation to boom your business!

I am going to propose something that you might not take a second look at in times of prosperity, when all you had to do was get up and go to work to survive. Now these times call for uncommon actions and pushing back harder at the suppression than it pushes on you. Disagree with what you consider “normal” and within your social boundaries. Grant Cardone says in his book ” You won’t find it easy to execute these business techniques at first because you are doing something new….The discomforts you experience now may well guarantee that you’ll be comfortable in the future… Tough economies are not “normal” times, so stop worrying about being normal…Be outrageous in your thinking, relentless in your execution, and unreasonable in your actions and you too will advance and conquer.”

And last but not least, if you are interested in more of this “over the ramparts” charge at handling your own “economy” read Grant Cardone’s book, “If You’re Not First, You’re Last”. Check out http://www.firstorlastbook.com/ and also you can listen to an interview I did with him just last week at: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/help-2-succeed  and scroll down to his featured episode.

Do You Fake It? The Secret of Sincerity in Business and in Life

ptp 2 sm

Internet community has exponentially exploded the availability of new potential relationships to be had in business and in life. Do you know the secret to successfully creating meaningful, lasting, and in some cases lucrative, relationships with people halfway across the world?

People are basically the same everywhere. Everyone wants to be happy, to contribute and to be acknowledged for their accomplishments, and to make a good living along the way. Only a small percentage of people crave something less noble.

So the big question you ask yourself is: How do I create a network of mutually assistive friends, colleagues and partners using the internet?

Grand Canyon view - most people want happiness and abundance
Grand Canyon view - most people want happiness and abundance

The goal is to create a data base of people who know and respect you in your field(s) of expertise, follow your lead and involve themselves in your endeavors. The result is that everybody wins and prospers from the relationships you create. From these relationships leaders are cultivated and the process continues to expand. That is the ideal scene, right? How can you accomplish this?

Think about it.  A very wise sculptor and artist (John T. Unger) once pointed out to me that it is really impossible to create relationships with more than about 2000 people in a lifetime. When it comes to business, how many more can you create that will actually come back to you for advice, products, to refer people and to just generally stay in touch? 3000? 4000? How hard is it to constantly cultivate new customers because you failed to create a meaningful relationship with the ones you had? How much money and time do you spend trying to push your agenda on “millions” of people, so you can get your .01% of return on your ad dollar?

The main characteristic is to CARE about people.  Take the TIME to make sure they get you. Find out what they need that you can give, and give in abundance. Don’t be afraid, at times, to give your time and products for free if it is warranted. Never give the idea that someone is expendable. Show your intention that you want to help people and prove that in your actions, week after week. Be sincere and be real.

Real and heart-felt sincerity is the key to creation of these relationships. Feel it, don’t fake it. Be real, care about your fellow man. I am talking about caring enough to believe in him, not some sappy sympathy toward him. Respect him and you will win.

I’m Gettin’ Out of the Box..Comin’ With Me?

“What box?” you say.  The BOX that we all have agreed to live in bounded by the bad news and fear mongering and idiotic decision-making of the politicos and media in our country.

I know there has to be some kind of plan behind it all. There just aren’t that many really stupid people that continue to make blunders and oopsies that result in devastating consequences. Some of these I refer to are: “oops, so sorry I missed that deadly ingredient in Chinese made toys!” , “oops, we are 14 trillion in debt – gee how did that happen? ..don’t look at me!”, “oops, we just can’t quite seem to end the war in Afghanistan, sorry, we are working on it!”, “oops, we just didn’t have time to test out that vaccine, so sorry about the horrific side effects!” , “oops, there is an inexpensive, natural cure for cancer? wow, we didn’t know, sorry!” “oops, sorry about the liver and kidney destruction from that drug! so sorry” and so on and on….

In spite of all of the above incredulous occurrences, there has to be a way we can do something about it without violence and without war.

And I think there is.. its called flourish and prosper. Just keep on doubling and tripling your advertising, marketing, and out-reach! Instead of flinching and shrinking back into a hole, get aggressive with your life, get out there and be seen and be heard! Support positive actions and ignore the moronic ones. The very best thing to do is just keep on leading a triumphant life and last but not least, BE AWARE!  Be vigilant and support political candidates that have a truly Constitutionally based viewpoint. Elect out of office those that have sold their souls to the devil; those who have compromised their integrity and live the life of sheep who follow those with the power instead of those with true strength.

Constant vigilence and constant prosperity -these are the ingredients to a fulfiling  life with a promise for the future generations that we upheld our Constituional rights and didn’t let them down.  Don’t get mad…get effective. Get out there and open your eyes. Get out of that box and give a hand up to others. Its your responsibility and crusade to do so.
